Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 1.24%.
The best performers of the session on the were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which rose 5.99% or 265.00 points to trade at 4,692.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:) added 3.55% or 830.00 points to end at 24,210.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) was up 3.17% or 340.00 points to 11,070.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nova (TASE:), which fell 1.45% or 850.00 points to trade at 57,820.00 at the close. Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:) declined 0.83% or 620.00 points to end at 74,500.00 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) was down 0.77% or 35.00 points to 4,485.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 290 to 160 and 85 ended unchanged.
Shares in Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 5.99% or 265.00 to 4,692.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.30% or 0.23 to $76.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.57% or 0.47 to hit $81.72 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.63% or 12.75 to trade at $2,025.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.25% to 3.66, while EUR/ILS fell 0.40% to 3.94.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 104.09.
