Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the added 1.03%.

The best performers of the session on the were Rockwool International B (CSE:), which rose 4.37% or 98.00 points to trade at 2,342.00 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) added 3.45% or 305.00 points to end at 9,135.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) was up 3.37% or 304.00 points to 9,326.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:), which fell 2.11% or 44.00 points to trade at 2,042.00 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:) declined 1.60% or 5.40 points to end at 332.20 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:) was down 1.43% or 13.60 points to 939.40.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 73 to 65 and 20 ended unchanged.

Shares in Rockwool International B (CSE:) rose to 52-week highs; up 4.37% or 98.00 to 2,342.00.

Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.83% or 0.71 to $85.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.92% or 0.82 to hit $89.74 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.12% or 25.50 to trade at $2,307.30 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.52% to 6.89, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 104.07.
