TuneCore integrates with PreSonus Studio to simplify music distribution for artists

TuneCore, a DIY artist distribution platform owned by Believe, has integrated its technology with PreSonus, an audio software company, to simplify music distribution for artists.

Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, PreSonus Audio Electronics designs and manufactures recording and live-sound hardware and software services for musicians, content creators, producers, and audio engineers.

The TuneCore integration allows creators using PreSonus Studio One to directly distribute their music to digital stores and streaming platforms around the world, all within the Studio One interface, the companies said in a joint announcement on Tuesday (April 2).

TuneCore offers distribution, publishing administration, and a range of promotional services. Their distribution services help artists sell their music through major stores and streaming platforms while retaining 100% ownership.

“we are excited to partner with PreSonus to streamline the distribution process for Studio One users, allowing them to send their music to stores and streaming platforms as soon as they finish recording in their DAW.”

The new integration offers Studio One users the ability to set up a TuneCore artist account, verify their music’s metadata, and distribute it to digital stores and streaming platforms directly within Studio One. PreSonus describes its Studio One platform as a “powerful music creation ecosystem that features unlimited access to professional software, exclusive content, and an active user base.”

To celebrate the partnership, Studio One+ subscribers who join TuneCore will receive 50% off their first year of Rising, Breakout, or Professional plans. Existing TuneCore artists will get 25% off their first year of Studio One+ Hybrid.

“As part of our ongoing mission to make artists’ lives easier, we are excited to partner with PreSonus to streamline the distribution process for Studio One users, allowing them to send their music to stores and streaming platforms as soon as they finish recording in their DAW,” said Andreea Gleeson, Chief Executive Officer, TuneCore.

“By eliminating artists’ need to reupload their music on a different platform from where it was created, we are enabling them to spend less time on administrative tasks and more time making music.”
