Travel costs are soaring, but the Wyndham hotel chain is launching a promotion that could convince more people to hit the road.
The parent company of brands including Travelodge, Ramada, Wingate, and La Quinta is offering a pass that will unlock 30 days of hotel stays over the next three months for just $499. The catch? Only 25 people will receive one.
The Wyndham Rewards Ultimate Hotel Pass will give holders access to nearly 9,200 hotels and resorts, including Caesars Rewards and Club Wyndham destinations. Holders will also have access to a concierge who will help with reservations and any modifications or cancelations. Limited blackout dates apply.
To be in the running for the pass, you can pre-register at the company’s website. You’ll need to be over 18 as well as a member (or join) of Wyndham Rewards. And you’ve only got until July 4 at 11:59 p.m. to pre-register.
On July 8, the company will notify potential winners, who will have 48 hours to claim their pass. Travel must be completed by Oct. 1, 2024.
The pass will let you stay anywhere from a Mexican beach to the Mediterranean to a national park, but keep in mind that while this will dramatically cut the cost of your hotel, you’re still responsible for the costs of getting to and from those locations—which could add up quickly depending on how far you plan to travel.
Wyndham last year rejected a hostile takeover offer from rival Choice Hotels. The company’s shares are down about 9.5% year to date, but have been on something of a rebound for the past month.
