Wall Street opens lower as Russia-Ukraine tensions escalate By Reuters

(Reuters) – Wall Street’s main indexes opened lower on Tuesday, as escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine sent investors rushing to safe-haven assets.

The fell 146.3 points, or 0.34%, at the open to 43,243.27. The fell 23.6 points, or 0.40%, at the open to 5,870.05​, while the dropped 92.1 points, or 0.49%, to 18,699.705 at the opening bell.
