Investing.com – Mexico stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Mexico, the added 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the were Gentera SAB de CV (BMV:), which rose 3.78% or 0.93 points to trade at 25.54 at the close. Meanwhile, Corporacion Inmobiliaria Vesta SAB (BMV:) added 2.81% or 1.35 points to end at 49.38 and Becle SA (BMV:) was up 2.70% or 0.71 points to 27.02 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banco Del Bajio SA Institution De Banca Multiple (BMV:), which fell 3.11% or 1.37 points to trade at 42.72 at the close. Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico SAB De CV Class B (BMV:) declined 2.27% or 8.73 points to end at 375.95 and Coca-Cola Femsa SAB de CV (BMV:) was down 1.94% or 3.18 points to 160.46.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 79 to 54 and 11 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for February delivery was down 0.11% or 3.00 to $2,661.80 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 0.23% or 0.16 to hit $68.88 a barrel, while the February Brent oil contract rose 0.53% or 0.38 to trade at $72.68 a barrel.
USD/MXN was down 0.71% to 20.43, while EUR/MXN fell 0.87% to 21.57.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 106.13.
