China’s Oct youth jobless rate drops to 17.1%, official data show By Reuters

BEIJING (Reuters) – China’s jobless rate for 16-to-24-year-olds, excluding college students, dropped to 17.1% in October from 17.6% in September, the statistics bureau data showed on Monday.

However, the October jobless rate for 25-29 years old, excluding college students, rose slightly to 6.8% from 6.7% a month prior, the data showed.
